Web Development: Robin Campbell

The Objective

Redesign Robin Campbell’s website, to increase user engagement, and better showcase his body of work.

The Solution

Robin and I spoke at length about how his new website should work, so we created a ‘wish list’ of functionality that the current site lacked. This included an easy way for him to add and amend content (including a monthly news section and a ‘featured track’ area on the home page, upcoming gig dates, image and video galleries, and an availability calendar), better social network integration, and the ability to offer tracks for users to preview and download.

His new site offers all of the above (as well as a few extra surprises), and is mobile-friendly to boot. It’s also now home to Celtic Krystal’s website, which features as a ‘mini site’ within the main site.
