Web Development: Celtic Krystal

The Objective

Create a fresh, new look for Celtic Krystal’s website, in order to help raise the group’s online profile, and increase content accessibility.

The Solution

When I was approached to redesign Celtic Krystal’s website, it was clear that there was much work to be done.

We spoke at length about how the website currently worked, and what the group’s goals were for the redesign (mobile-friendly, greater user interaction, and more booking enquiries), so it was decided to start from scratch, using WordPress as the platform of choice.

The new design features a modern, clean aesthetic, while still retaining strong cues to the group’s Celtic roots. The new logo and imagery help create a strong brand identity, which has since been used in the group’s offline promotional material. Updates are easily made from the back-end, including the gigs list on the home page, and availability calendar on the contact page. Facebook integration is also included.
