Today saw something a little bit different at SoundARC, with the recording of ‘Strictly Swing’ – a new swing and big band outfit looking to break into the corporate market. The day was spent tracking drums, upright bass, and guitar to seven swing tracks, including ‘L.O.V.E.’, ‘Let There Be Love’, and even a swing version of ‘Isn’t She Lovely’, by Stevie Wonder! I was particularly pleased with how the drums turned out, as we made good use of the studio’s vintage Premier kit. All in all, a cracking day!
